We did the section from Donegal town to Glenties as we only had 2 days. Carried our tent, food and water with us. Camped at approximately mile 17 in a farmers field. We ran into him the next morning and he was happy we used his field and I imagine most farmers up there would be the same. Water taps or bottled sources are minimal/non existent but lots of running streams/rivers and we asked a guy in his front garden to fill a bottle and he was happy to do so. A good portion of trail is on roads which are really quiet and very enjoyable. Try to avoid the route shown on this app at mile ~18 but rather the alt route option. We didn’t and this section was largely on a busy road! We met no one actually walking the Bluestacks way and not many locals had heard of it which makes it very cool. Brilliant weekend
