Great hike with some scrambling up and down over rocks. Walking boots essential and do borrow a hazel walking stick at turn into loop to holy well (~1.5km mark). Path is well marked but first open slab area is a bit tricky - take your time and you’ll find them. The belted Galloway cattle are docile and fenced in. Enjoy the lake pier near hike end. Look out for the white goats on the home straight.

Beautiful trail, there are quite a few road walks but the cliff walk and the section in the Burren mountains make up for it, spectacular views!
