There is ample parking available near the trailhead. For those using public transport, take a train to Balingen, the nearest major town, and then a local bus to Tieringen. The bus stop is conveniently located near the trailhead.

Starting from Tieringen, the trail begins with a gentle ascent through mixed forests. The first kilometer (0.62 miles) is relatively easy, allowing you to acclimate to the terrain. After about 2 km (1.24 miles), you will reach the Hessenbuehl Plateau. This area offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding Swabian Jura landscape.
