As you begin your hike, you'll be greeted by lush forests and rolling meadows. The initial part of the trail is relatively gentle, allowing you to ease into the hike. After about 1 km (0.6 miles), the trail starts to ascend more steeply, offering panoramic views of the Bavarian Alps.
The trail is rich in biodiversity. Keep an eye out for native wildlife such as deer, foxes, and a variety of bird species. The flora is equally impressive, with dense forests of spruce and fir, interspersed with colorful wildflowers during the spring and summer months.

Given the elevation gain, it's advisable to wear sturdy hiking boots and bring trekking poles if you have them. Carry enough water and snacks, as there are limited facilities along the trail. Weather can be unpredictable, so pack a light rain jacket and check the forecast before heading out.
