To reach the trailhead, you can either drive or use public transport. If driving, set your GPS to the nearest known address: Blankeneser Bahnhof, Hamburg. From there, it's a short walk to the trailhead. For public transport, take the S-Bahn to Blankenese Station. The trailhead is conveniently located near the station, making it easily accessible.
The trail begins with a gentle ascent, leading you through lush forests and open meadows. As you progress, you'll encounter the first significant landmark, the Polterberg.
