Mittlere Linderspitze, Suedliche Linderspitze and Sulzleklammpitze via Wanderweg

Starting near the picturesque town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, this loop trail covers approximately 14 km (8.7 miles) with an elevation gain of around 1800 meters (5905 feet). The trailhead is easily accessible by both car and public transport. If you're driving, you can park near the Olympic Ski Stadium, a well-known landmark in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Initial Ascent and Terrain

Mittlere Linderspitze

Continuing along the trail, you'll approach the Mittlere Linderspitze. This section involves some scrambling over rocky terrain, so be prepared for a bit of a challenge. The summit of Mittlere Linderspitze offers panoramic views that are well worth the effort. At this point, you've covered approximately 6 km (3.7 miles) and gained around 1000 meters (3280 feet) in elevation.

Suedliche Linderspitze and Sulzleklammpitze

From Mittlere Linderspitze, the trail descends slightly before ascending again towards Suedliche Linderspitze. This part of the hike is less strenuous but still requires careful footing. The summit of Suedliche Linderspitze is another excellent spot for taking in the breathtaking alpine scenery. After a short descent, you'll begin the final ascent to Sulzleklammpitze. This section is the most challenging, with steep inclines and rocky paths. Upon reaching the summit, you'll have completed the majority of the elevation gain.

Flora and Fauna

Throughout the hike, you'll encounter a variety of alpine flora and fauna. Keep an eye out for Edelweiss and Alpine Asters, as well as wildlife such as chamois and marmots. Birdwatchers may also spot golden eagles soaring above.
