Navigation and Safety

Given the trail's difficulty, it is essential for hikers to be well-prepared. The use of navigation tools like HiiKER is recommended to ensure you stay on track. Weather conditions in the Alps can change rapidly, so hikers should be equipped with appropriate gear, including sturdy hiking boots, layered clothing, and rain protection. Additionally, carrying sufficient water and snacks is crucial, as the trail can be demanding and remote in sections.
