Eichelspitze and Ruettefelsen via Ueberm Pfaffental and Ruette Tannenlochhuette

Initial Ascent and Eichelspitze

Ueberm Pfaffental and Ruette Tannenlochhuette

Continuing from Eichelspitze, the trail descends slightly before leading you through the picturesque Pfaffental valley. After approximately 4 km (2.5 miles) from the start, you'll arrive at the Ruette Tannenlochhuette, a charming hut that serves as a perfect spot for a picnic. Ruettefelsen and Return Loop

The next segment involves a more challenging ascent to Ruettefelsen, adding another 150 meters (492 feet) of elevation gain over the next 2 km (1.2 miles). The trail here is a bit steeper and rockier, so good hiking boots are essential.

After soaking in the views from Ruettefelsen, the trail loops back towards the starting point. The descent is gradual, allowing you to enjoy the diverse flora and fauna of the region. Keep an eye out for wildflowers and small mammals that are abundant in this part of the forest.
