Priory Park

Your journey begins at Priory Park, a beautifully landscaped area with manicured gardens and a serene lake. This park is a great place to start as it offers a gentle introduction to the hike. As you walk through, you'll notice the Malvern Priory, a historical church dating back to the 11th century. The park itself is home to various species of birds and small mammals, making it a delightful spot for nature enthusiasts.

Perseverance Hill

After leaving Priory Park, the trail ascends towards Perseverance Hill. This section is moderately steep, gaining about 150 meters (492 feet) in elevation over 2 km (1.2 miles). The climb is well worth it, as the summit offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Keep an eye out for wildflowers and butterflies, especially in the spring and summer months. The hill is also a great spot for birdwatching, with species like the red kite and kestrel often seen soaring above.

Summer Hill

Continuing on, you'll reach Summer Hill, another notable elevation point. The trail here is less steep but still offers a good workout.
