Avon Valley Path - Hampshire to Dorset

Great fun and a beautiful walk. We did it over 3 1/2 days doing about 9miles a day staying at pubs on way. Lovely start in Salisbury. The best part is a fair bit of walking in The New Forest. Many stretches are over water meadows. At the end of May, two stretches were impassable but easy to find a road around and two were great fun with water close to the top of your boots. Lots of stinging nettles to contend with as well on seldom used country paths. A lovely walk though and would recommend.
