To reach the trailhead near Cocking, you can either drive or use public transport. If driving, you can park in the village of Cocking, which is accessible via the A286 road. For those using public transport, the nearest train station is Chichester, from where you can take a bus to Cocking. The bus journey takes around 30 minutes.
The trail begins in Cocking, a quaint village known for its historical significance and traditional English charm. Amberley Mount offers another set of breathtaking views and is a great spot for a final rest before descending into the village of Amberley.
