Embark on the Carlton Colville Marshes/Barnby hiking plan, an easy yet enjoyable journey perfect for a day trek. Spanning for a notable distance of 16.78 km that can be conquered in approximately 203 minutes, your adventure begins at Carlton Meadow Skate Park taking you through the Carlton Marshes and a lengthy part of the River Waveney and back through country and woodland back to Carlton Colville, most importantly passing very near 2 excellent pubs!! The Barnby Swan and the Carlton Bell!!! Though the hike includes a slight elevation gain of 20 meters, it compensates with an elevation loss of 58 meters. Making it a relaxed and pleasant hike for beginners or enthusiasts looking for a quick getaway.
