Starting from the picturesque village of Gradbach, this rewarding circular route visits three Ethel summits—Ramshaw Rocks, Hen Cloud and The Roaches—before descending into the enchanting moss-covered chasm of Lud’s Church. Covering 9.5 miles with 543 metres of ascent, this walk combines dramatic gritstone scenery, sweeping views and fascinating history, making it one of the finest day hikes in the Peak District.
