From Osmotherley, follow the signs towards the North York Moors National Park. There is a small parking area near the trailhead. For those using public transport, take a train to Northallerton and then a bus to Osmotherley. From the village, it's a short walk to the start of the trail.
The trail begins with a gentle ascent through a picturesque woodland area. As you make your way up, you'll notice the lush greenery and the sound of birds chirping, creating a serene atmosphere. After about 1 km (0.6 miles), the trail opens up to a more exposed section, offering panoramic views of the surrounding moorlands.
