The Richmond Bridge and Weir Easby Abbey Loop is a medium-difficulty hike that offers a blend of natural beauty and historical intrigue. The trail is well-marked and can be navigated easily using the HiiKER app.
Starting from the Richmond Market Place, you'll quickly encounter Richmond Castle, a Norman fortress with a rich history dating back to the 11th century. The castle offers panoramic views of the surrounding area and is a great spot for a brief detour.
