The visitor center serves as a convenient starting point for your hike.### Trail Overview The trail begins at the Seven Sisters Country Park Visitor Centre, where you can find ample parking and facilities. From here, the path takes you through a variety of landscapes, including rolling hills, dense woodlands, and open meadows. The initial stretch of the trail is relatively flat, making it an excellent warm-up for the more challenging sections ahead.### Significant Landmarks and Nature As you progress, you'll encounter the Cuckmere River, a serene waterway that meanders through the valley. The river is home to a variety of bird species, so keep your binoculars handy for some birdwatching. After about 2 km (1.2 miles), you'll start to ascend towards the South Downs, offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.One of the highlights of this trail is the Friston Forest, a dense woodland area that provides a cool, shaded respite.
