From Brough, local buses or a short taxi ride will get you to the trailhead.
The trail begins near South Cave and quickly immerses you in the serene beauty of the East Riding countryside. The initial section of the trail takes you through Bottom Plantation, a dense woodland area that offers a cool, shaded environment. Here, you can expect to see a variety of native trees such as oak, beech, and ash. Keep an eye out for local wildlife, including deer, foxes, and a variety of bird species.
