#### Fingle Bridge Approximately 3 km (1.9 miles) into the hike, you'll encounter Fingle Bridge, a historic stone bridge that dates back to the 17th century. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the serene river views. The area around Fingle Bridge is also rich in wildlife, so keep an eye out for otters and kingfishers.
#### Castle Drogo Around the 6 km (3.7 miles) mark, you'll pass near Castle Drogo, a 20th-century castle with a fascinating history. Designed by renowned architect Sir Edwin Lutyens, the castle is perched above the Teign Gorge and offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
