By enlarge a good trail with excellent walking on Dartmoor and Exmoor, but the section between them becomes a litte boring, particularly Newbury to Morchard Road. Also, as confirmed by other walkers, some sections are very poorly sign posted and overgrown. We completed it in seven days, but would suggest 9 days would be more comfortable. Good luck!!

I loved this hike! It was quite tough going with a lot of time spent off established footpaths and traipsing over the moor. But the views and wild ponies make it worth it! Feels like a little slice of wilderness. I didn’t see many people
