Point to Point
In August 2016 I walked a route I'd created which traced the hilly horizon as seen from the perspective of my Manchester flat. The walk starts on Sutton Moor/Croker Hill South of Macclesfield and ends at Winter Hill in Lancashire. See horizonwalk.com for more details.
CAUTION The section between Robinson's Moss and Alphin Pike is often pathless, squelchy, hag-and-grough type terrain and may after some miles feel a bit unrewarding. It would only be cheating a little bit to take the very scenic and solid path from Chew Resevoir above Dovestone Reservoir instead.
