Go clockwise around the loop, the steepest part will be in the beginning and it is STEEP! Make sure to follow the map, there are lots of trails that branch off, both official and unofficial. Beautiful views west of the Ramparts, some views east of Palmer Lake and Palmer Divide, and some nice flat areas on top with Aspen groves and bouldering.
