Hike to Cerro Castillo

This medium, one-day hike starts near Villa Cerro Castillo and covers about 9.5 miles with a substantial 4,700 ft of elevation gain and 1,500 ft of loss. The route climbs steadily into rugged Patagonian terrain with sweeping views of jagged peaks, deep valleys, and glacially carved landscapes. Expect some steep sections and changing weather, but rewarding panoramas and a sense of remoteness as you move away from the village toward the final viewpoint.
