Flora and Fauna

The trail is abundant with diverse flora and fauna. You might spot marmots, pikas, and even the occasional black bear. The high-altitude environment supports unique plant species like the Sierra Primrose and Sky Pilot. Keep an eye out for these as you hike.

Navigation

Given the high altitude and potential for sudden weather changes, it's advisable to use a reliable navigation tool like HiiKER to stay on track. The trail is well-marked, but having a digital map can provide extra assurance.
