What to expect
Del Norte County, California packs coastal bluffs, wild rivers, and some of the state's most memorable redwood walking. Near Crescent City, the Grove of Titans Trail and Stout Memorial Grove put you beneath immense old-growth giants, while Crescent Beach and Lake Earl bring open sky and salt air. Inland, Little Bald Hills and the South Fork Smith River lead into quieter, rugged country worth lingering in.
