“Embark on a breathtaking journey through Galicia's lush landscapes and historical treasures to the "end of the world."”
The Camino Finisterre (or Fisterra in Galician) is a unique extension of the Camino de Santiago, beginning at the Cathedral in Santiago de Compostela and heading west to the dramatic Atlantic coast. Unlike other Camino routes that culminate in Santiago, this path starts where most pilgrimages end. Traditionally, pilgrims walked to Finisterre, meaning “Land’s End,” which the Romans believed to be the westernmost point of the known world. All of this route is within the autonomous region of Galicia in the north-west of Spain.
