It was ok. just walking along a sandy road, with no view of the sea. Was unable to walk along the beach itself due to the tide being in. The car park had a great view though.

We walked to the loop track from via Comans Track from Watchmans Road at Karekare Beach in 2 ½ hours. Very steep sections, but well worth the views.
