Stunning views and picturesque Lough's but the the entire route is a bog which is not easy to cross. I would not recommend going down or up the steep side, just use the more gradual side.

This was way too much; for me! 15k of roads where everyone has a car, hold that are like ladders and while the scenery is spectacular and the people are so nice, it stops being enjoyable after an hour or so - we headed back. The church is beautiful and reminds us of the sufferings that the people of Arran have endured up to recent times. Their pain is remembered.
