Rated as an easy trail, it is 5km long with an elevation gain of just 93ft. It will take around an hour and a half to complete the loop which is coded blue and is set in the interesting Regional Park in County Cork. During the 18th century, gunpowder was manufactured on this ex-military site for the British Armed Forces positioned throughout the world. It is a multi-access trail, making it suitable for pushchairs, people with reduced mobility and wheelchairs and dogs are permitted on leads. There is car parking on site.
