Cirque De Gavarnie

One of the trail's highlights is the Grande Cascade, France's highest waterfall, which plunges 422 meters (1385 feet) from the Marboré Glacier above. The best views of the waterfall are from the plateau at the cirque's base, roughly 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) into the hike.
