#### Avebury Stone Circle Approximately 0.5 km (0.3 miles) into the hike, you'll encounter the Avebury Stone Circle, one of the largest Neolithic stone circles in Europe. This UNESCO World Heritage Site dates back to around 2600 BCE and is a must-see for history enthusiasts. The massive stones are arranged in a circular pattern, and the site is believed to have been used for ceremonial purposes.
#### Silbury Hill Continuing along the trail, at around the 1.5 km (0.93 miles) mark, you'll get a clear view of Silbury Hill, the largest artificial mound in Europe. This prehistoric monument, standing at 40 meters (131 feet) high, is another testament to the area's rich history. Although climbing Silbury Hill is not permitted, the view from the trail is impressive and offers a great photo opportunity.
