Causey Pike, Wandope, Robinson and Dale Head Loop

The trailhead is easily accessible by car, with parking available in Braithwaite. For those using public transport, the nearest major town is Keswick, which is well-connected by bus services. From Keswick, a short bus ride or taxi can take you to Braithwaite.

Initial Ascent to Causey Pike The hike begins with a steady ascent towards Causey Pike, a prominent peak in the northwestern fells of the Lake District. The initial climb is steep but rewarding, offering panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and lakes. The path is well-trodden but can be rocky, so sturdy hiking boots are recommended. Descent and Return to Braithwaite The descent from Dale Head back to Braithwaite is gradual and follows well-marked paths. The route takes you through lush meadows and past small streams, offering a gentle end to the hike.
