At one end of the vast island of Great Britain is Land's end, and at the opposite extreme, is John o' Groats. There are many ways to bridge this gap, from automobile, to plane, from boat (that could be awkward) to bike. We would argue that you are crossing this immense and varied landscape via the most interesting option, foot.
The roughly 1214 Miles makes a very difficult trail though you have plenty of options for support along the way. Wild camping will be easy in most places and challenging in a small few. There are plenty of options for hostels along the way too, and no shortage of pubs for good measure!
