Tuktut Nogait National Park of Canada

Tuktut Nogait National Park is located in the Northwest Territories of Canada, within the Arctic Archipelago. Positioned in the northernmost part of the continent, the park is part of the Inuvik Region and is bordered by the Arctic coast. The nearest communities are the Inuit settlement of Paulatuk and the town of Inuvik. Established in 1996, Tuktut Nogait National Park was created to safeguard a critical habitat for wildlife and preserve the unique Arctic environment. The park's creation was driven by collaboration with the local Tłı̨chǫ First Nation and reflects a commitment to protecting indigenous lands and wildlife.
