A longer section today which we originally planned to do as a Linear from Pensford to Chew Magna. Nevertheless, we took in the two remaining peaks, Blackberry Hill (unofficial - i will explain later) inc the Trig at 207m and Knowle Hill at 112m. We got permission from Andy the Land owner at Upper Barrow Hill Farm to go out to the Trig at 207m (actually on Barrow Hill) with the official Blackberry Hill standing slightly more out to the East at 206m. For the 3 peaks the trig on Upper Barrow Hill is used unofficially as the summit of Blackberry Hill. Andy the landowner was full of historical info and a great person to speak with. Upon leaving here we dropped down into Clutton and continued on the Three Peaks Trail and extending it out to Picnic Site 2 at Chew Valley Lake for lunch. We then picked our way up on to Knowle Hill and on leaving its peak, dropped off East through the fern to meet the road. From here we picked up good footpaths to Stanton Drew and on to the Two Rivers Way heading back into Pensford.
