Northam & Appledore Circular - Upper Limits UK

My last walk for 2025 was another circular on the #SWCP. Today I headed up to Northam from my base in Kilkhampton for a cracking circular taking in the Northam Burrows and Appledore Quays along the River Torridge. Parking in Northam was £2 all day just behind the church in the main square. From here I headed back down to the burrows were I left them yesterday. The route is pretty straight forward once you hit the coast as it's simply turn NE and follow the coast and river right round to Appledore. This is a lovely quirky place to visit and far less commercial than Westward Ho. There are many dog legs on the return from here to weave around yards and factories, parts of which are not the prettiest. One of my favourite routes on this section of the Coast Path so far.
