If driving, head towards the village of Wescoe, which is easily accessible from the A66. For those using public transport, the nearest major town is Keswick, which is well-connected by bus services from Penrith railway station. From Keswick, you can take a local bus or taxi to Wescoe.### Trail Overview The trail begins near Wescoe and initially takes you through pastoral landscapes, offering a gentle start. As you progress, the path gradually ascends towards Latrigg, a small fell that provides stunning panoramic views of Keswick and Derwentwater. The climb to Latrigg is moderate, with an elevation gain of about 300 meters (984 feet) over the first 4 km (2.5 miles).### Latrigg Summit At the summit of Latrigg, take a moment to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. On a clear day, you can see the Skiddaw range to the north and the Helvellyn range to the south.
