Trail Overview
The trail begins in the picturesque village of Exton, nestled in the South Downs National Park. As you set off, you'll follow the Meon Valley Trail, a former railway line that has been converted into a scenic path. Beacon Hill
After approximately 3 km (1.9 miles), you'll reach the base of Beacon Hill. The ascent here is gradual but steady, gaining about 150 meters (492 feet) in elevation over the next 2 km (1.2 miles). As you climb, you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Beacon Hill itself is a significant landmark, offering a 360-degree vista that includes the Isle of Wight on a clear day. Beaconhill Beeches
