#### Lacock to Reybridge The initial section of the trail takes you through the village streets, offering views of half-timbered houses and quaint shops. After about 1 km (0.6 miles), you'll reach the River Avon. Crossing the river at Reybridge, you'll find a picturesque stone bridge that dates back to the 14th century. This is a great spot for a brief rest and some photos.
#### Reybridge to Bowden Hill Continuing from Reybridge, the trail meanders through open fields and woodlands. This section is relatively flat and easy-going, making it a pleasant walk. After approximately 3 km (1.9 miles), you'll start a gentle ascent towards Bowden Hill. The climb is gradual, gaining about 100 meters (328 feet) in elevation over the next 2 km (1.2 miles).
#### Bowden Hill At the top of Bowden Hill, you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. This is an excellent spot for a picnic. The area is also rich in wildlife; keep an eye out for deer, foxes, and a variety of bird species. The hill itself has historical significance, with remnants of ancient settlements and agricultural terraces.
