If driving, head towards Deception Pass State Park, located at 41229 State Route 20, Oak Harbor, WA 98277. There is ample parking available near the trailhead. For those using public transport, the nearest major city is Seattle. From Seattle, you can take a bus to Oak Harbor and then a local taxi or rideshare to the park.### Trail Overview The trail begins near the parking area at Deception Pass State Park. As you start, you'll be greeted by lush forested areas and the sound of waves crashing against the rocky shoreline. The initial part of the trail is relatively flat, making it a good warm-up for the more challenging sections ahead.### Rosario Head About 1.5 km (0.9 miles) into the hike, you'll reach Rosario Head. This area offers stunning panoramic views of the Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands.
