From the station, it's a short walk to the trailhead.### Trail Overview The trail begins in Arundel, a town known for its stunning medieval castle and the Arundel Cathedral. As you set off, you'll be greeted by the sight of Arundel Castle, a majestic structure dating back to the 11th century. The castle's grounds and gardens are worth exploring if you have time before or after your hike.### Arundel to Houghton The first segment of the trail takes you from Arundel to Houghton, covering approximately 10 km (6.2 miles).
