There is ample parking available. For those using public transport, the nearest train station is Lapworth, which is about 3 miles (4.8 km) from the trailhead. From the station, you can take a taxi or a local bus to Baddesley Clinton.
The loop begins near the entrance of Baddesley Clinton, a moated manor house dating back to the 13th century. This historic site is worth a visit either before or after your hike. As you set off, you'll be greeted by the serene woodlands of Hay Wood. This area is known for its ancient trees and diverse birdlife, making it a haven for nature lovers.
