If driving, you can park near the village of Bearley, which is easily accessible from the A46 road. For those using public transport, the nearest train station is Bearley Station, which is a short walk from the trailhead. Alternatively, you can take a bus to the nearby town of Stratford-upon-Avon and then a taxi or local bus to Bearley.### Trail Overview The loop begins in Bearley, a quaint village known for its picturesque countryside. As you start your hike, you'll traverse through a mix of open fields, woodlands, and charming rural landscapes. The first section of the trail takes you towards Wilmcote, approximately 5 km (3.1 miles) from the starting point.### Wilmcote Wilmcote is historically significant as the birthplace of Mary Arden, the mother of William Shakespeare. Here, you can visit Mary Arden's Farm, a well-preserved Tudor farm that offers a glimpse into 16th-century rural life. The farm is a great spot to take a break and explore before continuing your hike.### Towards Snitterfield Leaving Wilmcote, the trail heads towards Snitterfield, another 6 km (3.7 miles) away. This section of the trail is relatively flat and passes through lush meadows and serene woodlands. Keep an eye out for local wildlife, including deer, foxes, and a variety of bird species. The area is also rich in wildflowers during the spring and summer months.### Snitterfield Snitterfield is a small village with a rich history dating back to the Domesday Book. The village is known for its beautiful St. James the Great Church, which dates back to the 13th century. This is another excellent spot to rest and take in the historical ambiance.### Returning to Bearley From Snitterfield, the trail loops back towards Bearley, covering the final 6 km (3.7 miles).
