From Carnforth station, it's a short taxi ride or a brisk walk to the trailhead.### Trail Overview The trail begins near Pine Lake, a serene spot that sets the tone for the hike. As you start, you'll be greeted by the tranquil waters of Pine Lake, a popular spot for birdwatching. Keep an eye out for swans, ducks, and other waterfowl that frequent the area.### Over Kellet Approximately 3 km (1.9 miles) into the hike, you'll reach the village of Over Kellet.
