#### Teston Bridge to Nettlestead Green Continuing along the trail, you'll pass through lush meadows and woodlands. Around the 5 km (3.1 miles) mark, you'll arrive at Nettlestead Green. This area is rich in history, with Nettlestead Place, a 13th-century manor house, located nearby. The manor is not open to the public, but its exterior is worth admiring.
#### Nettlestead Green to Greensand Ridge As you leave Nettlestead Green, the trail begins to ascend gently towards the Greensand Ridge. This section offers panoramic views of the Kent countryside and is particularly beautiful in the spring when wildflowers are in bloom. The elevation gain here is gradual, making it manageable for most hikers.
#### Greensand Ridge to Yalding The final stretch of the trail takes you back down towards Yalding. This descent offers more stunning views and the opportunity to spot local wildlife, including deer and various bird species. As you approach Yalding, you'll pass through orchards and farmland, providing a quintessentially English countryside experience.
