If driving, head towards Issaquah, Washington, and park at the designated lot near the High School Trailhead. For those using public transport, take a bus to Issaquah Transit Center and then a short taxi or rideshare to the trailhead.### Trail Overview The loop begins with a gradual ascent through dense forest, offering a serene start to your hike. The first significant landmark is Poo Poo Point, located approximately 4 km (2.5 miles) from the trailhead. This spot is popular for paragliding and provides panoramic views of the surrounding area, including Lake Sammamish and the city of Issaquah. The elevation gain to Poo Poo Point is around 600 meters (1968 feet), making it a moderate climb.### Historical Significance As you continue, you'll transition onto the West Tiger RR Grade. This section of the trail follows an old railroad grade that was once used for logging in the early 20th century.
