The 15.1 km Glen of Aherlow Loop is a moderate walk near Clonbeg, County Tipperary, Ireland. Predominantly a woodland walk where dogs are welcome, the trail takes in the Glen of Aherlow, a lush valley that follows the River Aherlow, whilst also offering beautiful views over the surrounding Galtee Mountains, Ireland's highest in-land mountain range.
County Tipperary is famous for its scenery, food and fortresses, so whilst you’re there, discover its medieval history and visit the 13th century Gothic Cathedral, the Rock of Cashel or the 12th-century fortress of Cahir Castle that sits on an island in the River Suir and is one of Ireland’s best preserved castles.
