A moderate and varied trail, the Ravensdale Forest Loop near Ravensdale, County Louth, Ireland, is a wild and rugged 18.3km route with plenty of wildlife, flora and fauna to spot on the way. With a total elevation gain of 2483 ft, the trail ventures through Ravensdale Forest and then steeply climbs to the peak of Black Mountain (1643 ft) and Carnnavaddy peak (1732 ft) for breath-taking 360-degree views. The terrain is mostly gravel forest tracks and trails with some small roads. Dogs are not permitted on farmland.
