A 24km point-to-point section of the longer 134-mile Kerry Way; this hike takes in Glenbeigh to Cahersiveen and can be walked in either direction. An easy to moderate trail with a few challenging points and a small road section. The route takes in a gradual elevation gain of 1883 ft and is a mixture of lanes and trails, known to get muddy in the wetter months so boots are recommended. It offers scenic coastal and mountain views over Dingle Bay towards the Dingle Peninsula, following the lower contours of the mountains Drung Hill (2276 ft), Beenmore (2342 ft) and Been Hill (2312 ft) – detour to their peaks for a more challenging hike.
