The nearest bus stop is Ambleside Kelsick Road, just a short walk from the trailhead.### The Hike The trail begins near the center of Ambleside, close to the Market Cross. From here, you’ll head towards Stock Ghyll Force, a stunning 70-foot waterfall nestled in a wooded area. The path to the waterfall is well-marked and relatively easy, making it a great start to your hike. As you approach the waterfall, you’ll hear the roar of the water before you see it, adding to the anticipation.
