The trail begins near Michelgrove Park, a historic estate with roots dating back to the medieval period. As you start your hike, you'll be greeted by a mix of open fields and wooded areas. The initial section is relatively flat, making it a good warm-up for the more undulating terrain ahead.
#### Windy Ridge
About 2 km (1.2 miles) into the hike, you'll reach Windy Ridge. This area offers panoramic views of the South Downs and the English Channel on clear days. #### Michelgrove Park
